Special Study Session: 2026-2027 Board Priorities

The Board held a study session to review the district’s priorities and strategic goals for the 2026-27 school year. There was one public comment.

Recognitions and Resolutions


The MVLA Gymnastics teams had a successful year. Los Altos secured the CCS championship with a final score of 148.95, while Mountain View finished second with a score of 147.35. At the CCS meet, MVLA athletes achieved five of the top ten individual all-around rankings.

Daniella Hughes from Los Altos High School Track is the State Champion in the Triple Jump and placed in four additional events. This is the first time a single athlete has won a state championship title in over two decades since Allie Miller, who also won for High Jump in 2004.

Board members share highlights and information related to their involvement in a variety of meetings and community events.

All the trustees shared their deep appreciation to the MVLA staff for their work in honoring all the graduates and their families of the class of 2026.

Ms. Thida Cornes, President, shared her appreciation as well as her attendance at several community and school-based end-of-year events.
