The technology standards highlighted below are updated regularly. The MVLA IT department seeks to provide our students and staff with the most robust and up-to-date equipment, software, and other technology tools. The standards highlighted below were updated in September, 2023.

MVLA classrooms are equipped with the following equipment:
- Teacher Computer: Either a MacBook Pro or Dell Notebook computer (teachers are all issued devices of their choice; 16 GB RAM minimum; 256 GB SSD minimum)
- Docking station: HP EliteDisplay E243d (23.8") Docking Monitor or current model
- Classroom Printer (model varies; see below)
- Document Camera (iPevo V4K PRO Ultra HD USB)
- Projection: Epson Short-throw (1485fi laser) or Epson U530 Ceiling mounted laser projector
- Wireless Projection: Vivi
- Audio: Lightspeed TopCat

Needs in computer labs vary, dependent upon the program(s) being taught.
Windows MINIMAL Standards
- i7 Processor
- 16GB ram
- 512GB SSD
- HDMI, Display Port, up to four USB ports

MacOS MINIMAL Standards
- 24" size for iMac model
- Apple M2 Processor
- 24GB ram
- 512GB SSD
- Up to four USB-C ports
