CITIZENS' OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE VACANCIES
The Board of Education of the Mountain View Los Altos High School District is seeking four qualified, interested individuals to serve on a committee of community leaders, which serve as the Independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee for the implementation of the District’s Measure E school facilities bond program.
The applicants must be able to represent the following constituents:

Business Organization Member (1 open seat)

Senior Citizen Organization member (1 open seat)
-
Taxpayer Organization Member (1 open seat)
-
Parent or Guardian of Child Enrolled in District and Active in PTO/PTA (1 open seat)

Interested individuals wishing to serve on the committee must complete this application.
Completed applications should be submitted to Associate Superintendent, Business Services, Mike Mathiesen by 5:00 PM on November 1, 2024.

CITIZENS OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE FOR MEASURE E SPENDING
The MVLA High School District has established a Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee to review expenditures from construction activity associated with Measure E, which was approved by District voters on June 5, 2018.
The Committee is responsible for ensuring that bond revenues are used only as voters intended and for informing the public of bond expenditures. The members are:
- Alan Cyron, Chair, senior citizen organization member
- Archana Upadhyay, parent member
- Cleave Frink, Jr., taxpayer member
- Michelle Lee, parent and school organization member
- Fiona Walter, business organization member
- Joe Mitchner, at large member
- Amanda Patron, at large member
