Volunteer with Us

Our VOLUNTEER PROCESS HAS CHANGED as of November 2025. 

Due to changes related to volunteer requirements when California Senate Bill 848 was signed into law, we have updated our volunteer clearance process. For most of our volunteers, there will not be any changes, however if you received clearance to volunteer at a Level 1 or Level 2, you should have received a notification that you will be required to complete additional clearances prior to July 1, 2026, to remain active in our volunteer program. For more questions, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at mvla.volunteers@mvla.net.
