STUDENT BOARD MEMBER REPORTS

We have just completed the first week of the semester, and it’s been a smooth and productive start. Students are settling back into their classes and adjusting well to their schedules.

Course selections for next year have officially opened, and students have begun meeting one-on-one with their counselors to review and confirm their academic plans. These meetings are an important step in helping students feel supported and confident as they plan for the upcoming school year.

Our Associated Student Body has been very busy as well. ASB is currently planning several major events, including Diversity Week and the accompanying rally, the Valentine’s Day Faire, and our Winter Formal, which will have a “Midnight in Manhattan” theme. These events continue to foster school spirit and build community on campus. In the arts, our school musical is coming up in just four weeks. This year’s production is Singing in the Rain, and students and staff are working hard in rehearsals as excitement builds for the performances.

Student leadership is also moving forward, as elections for officer positions are beginning. Candidates picked up their election packets today, and there will be a mandatory meeting this Wednesday during lunch to review expectations and timelines.
Finally, we’re looking ahead to welcoming future students, with an 8th grade open house scheduled for next week for incoming freshmen.
Thank you for your time, and for your continued support of our school community.
