MVLA will again be hosting an in-seat summer school, as well as offering summer classes online through Adult Education. 

IN-SEAT SUMMER SCHOOL

In-seat classes will be offered at Los Altos High School. These courses are for remediation only, so registration is limited to students who received a D, F, or Incomplete in a course during the school year. Students should contact their academic counselor if they have any questions about which courses to register for.

Session Dates:
Session 1: 6/13 → 6/27 (10 days w/ no class Monday, 6/20 in observance of Juneteenth)
Session 2: 6/28 → 7/12 (10 days w/ no class Monday, 7/4 )

Times:
Monday → Friday   8AM to 2:35 PM

Format:
Students must attend in person the entire day. Any student who is absent for more than (1) full day of instruction per session may be dropped from their class.

ONLINE SUMMER SCHOOL

For information about taking a summer school course online with the Adult School, a list of courses offered online, and FAQs about online summer school, please click here.

Online coursework will be through Edgenuity. Teacher support and testing will be at Adult School Room 104. Teacher office hours and testing available Monday through Friday 9am-4pm.

Session Dates:
Session 1: Mon 6/13 → Fri 7/1 (3 weeks w/ no class Monday, 6/20)
Session 2: Tue 7/5 → Fri 7/22 (3 weeks)


FOR HEALTH:
MVLA District students can take Health through the Adult School's Online Summer School. Students must complete two steps in order to complete their application:
 
Step 1: Click on Register and enroll in the appropriate session. 
Step 2: Submit an application for the Adult School Online Summer School through Informed K12     


FOR COURSES OTHER THAN HEALTH:
Please contact your counselor for more information about the district's in-seat summer school. If your online course request is approved by your counselor, fill out the course title and semester prior to submitting the Online Summer School Application. The application will not be processed until your counselor approves the course. You will also need to register for a session to complete your application.
