IEP Review
The IEP team conducts an annual review of a student's program to formulate a new Individualized Education Program (IEP), assess progress in achieving previously set goals, and identify new objectives, services, and support as deemed necessary. Additionally, an Eligibility Review takes place every three years, during which assessments are carried out to ascertain special education eligibility.
It's essential to note that a parent or the school's IEP team can request an IEP team meeting at any point during the school year to address concerns related to a student's IEP. These concerns may encompass the mastery of established goals or the need for additional support. This flexibility ensures that a student's educational program remains responsive and adaptable to their evolving needs.
