Attention all sophomores and juniors. If you have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better and interested in community service, apply for membership to the National Honor Society. Membership in the National Honor Society (NHS) is based on outstanding scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Membership is open to sophomores and juniors.

California Scholarship Federation

The California Scholarship Federation and California Junior Scholarship Federation (CSF and CJSF) exist to promote and recognize high standards of scholarship, service and citizenship on the part of students in California schools.  At Los Altos High School, CSF is not an active club.  Freshmen are encouraged to apply beginning with their first semester work.  Although their first two semesters do not count toward GOLD SEAL graduation status, students may use the number of CSF accepted semesters as part of their honors and recognition when filling out college and university applications.  If you have any questions, please contact:  Terri Salsman de Rodriguex:  Terri.SalsmanDeRodriguex@mvla.net
