Camila Trepanier is Mountain View High School's April 2019 Student of the Month. Camila is an extraordinary student who is enrolled in AP Psychology, AP Environmental Science, US History,
Trigonometry/Math Analysis, and AP Spanish Language and Culture. Along with balancing all these classes, Camilla is an active member of the Mountain View community. At school, Camila has been apart of the school’s Mock Trial team since her sophomore year. She is also part of the Ambassadors Club, which helps freshman and new transfers students learn their way around the campus, get acclimatized and meet new friends through events like potlucks and parent information nights .
Outside of school she volunteers with 4H, a program in which volunteers help children with physical or mental disabilities participate in equine therapy.
Camila’s heritage is is that she is half Argentine and half Canadian, she was born in Canada and moved to Mountain View in 2007. Last summer she went to Argentina for two months and lived on her family farms with her aunt. The farms were both agricultural and livestock farms, and she learned a lot about the farming business.She also is a competitive horseback rider and competes with her team all over Northern California.
In her free time, she loves to do photography and hike.
Camila's goals are to go to a University and perhaps study Psychology, but plans to keep all her options open.
