Fresh Approach to Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent engagement in their student’s education is a key element to their teen’s academic success. Parent-Teacher conferences are one of many options we have for connecting families with the learning experience. The purpose of a parent-teacher conference is to discuss a student’s academic or social-emotional needs. Beginning this year, we are taking a fresh approach to how we organize these meetings.

A parent or guardian will be able to request a meeting with a teacher if they feel that their student may benefit from a more detailed conversation with a teacher. Next week, after we’ve enjoyed Back to School night and the students are settled into their classes, we will share a link that parents and guardians can use to request a conference with student’s teacher(s).
