Student Technology Accounts & FAQs
Students are all provided with accounts while they are current/active students. Upon graduation, accounts deactivate on December 31 of the graduation year.
MVLA uses the ClassLink portal. (Directions for setting up accounts is below.). ClassLink allows for:
- Multifactor authentication (additional and required account security)
- Changing passwords
- Setting up password recovery
- Single sign-on to MVLA services, such as Gmail, Google Workspace, Aeries, Canvas, and other applications used
PLEASE USE MVLA'S HELP DESK TO REQUEST HELP. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT TO ACCESS THE HELP DESK, STUDENTS CAN EMAIL THE HELPDESK AT helpdesk@mvla.net
All MVLA students are issued a user account through ClassLink. ClassLink can be accessed at login.mvla.net. Once students are initially logged in to ClassLink, they will be prompted to:
- Set up a password recovery process
- Choose an image for two-factor authentication
- Change their default password

After students completed the steps above, they will have access to:
- Google Workplace account (MVLA Google Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
- Aeries SIS
- Canvas
- MVLA HelpDesk
- Any other course-related applications
All of these applications are accessible with a click; students do not have to enter user ID's and passwords for these various services.
When registering with MVLA, all students sign the District's Acceptable Use Policy.
