Discovering your future
|
Discovering your future aims to broaden the horizons of high school students by inviting guest speakers from various companies and professions to speak at mountain view high school. Through these presentations, students will be able to explore the diverse and vast opportunities that are available to them if they choose to join the workforce or show interest in the profession or area of study. The guest speaker will be from a variety of fields and backgrounds, including people who went through college and those who have not. The club is a community service in itself. In addition, we plan to organize a field trip where students will be able to go on site as a shadow and have hand-on experience of what the job or profession would be like. By inviting speakers to the high school, the club is benefiting the students, MVHS, and community as a whole
