The Sports Medicine Staff is available to all student athletes for prevention, evaluation, and treatment of athletic injuries. The Athletic Training Room is fully equipped with various modalities and rehabilitation equipment. The Athletic Training staff works closely with local physicians and physical therapists to provide comprehensive medical care for Mountain View Student-Athletes.

The Mountain View High School Sports Medicine Club is part of an extensive health career education program. Introduction to Health Occupations, Health Occupations (Nursing), Fitness Specialist, and Sports Medicine. The MVHS Sports Medicine Program provides academic/practical skills for students considering careers in athletic training, medicine, physical therapy, or other related careers. The Fitness Specialist Program is designed for students considering careers in the fitness industry and prepares them for national personal trainer certifications.
